Membership Application

Eligibility

Any person who has retired from the educational field under the Florida Retirement System (FRS) or the Teachers Retirement System (TRS) with five or more years service or any person who has retired from the educational system of any other state or any person who has retired from a private or parochial school with five or more years of service shall be eligible for active membership.

We are affiliated with the Florida Retired Educators Association (FREA) and membership is encouraged in both organizations.

Annual dues are $40; $30 for FREA and $10 for the local unit.

The membership  year is from July 1 to June 30.

A membership directory is published yearly and contains pertinent information for all members.

A newsletter is published four times a year, distributed at the monthly luncheon or mailed to absent members.

Insurance

American Pioneer Insurance Company offers special rates to members of the FREA.
